Calibrations

At ACTS, we offer a comprehensive range of calibration and verification services, including:

• Screening Audiometer Calibrations: Ensuring precision and reliability in audiometric testing, along with assessments of acoustic environments and audiometric booths (SANS 10154/10182).
• Spirometry Testing: Conducting calibration verifications for spirometers to ensure accurate spirometry test results.
• Vision Testing : Service and verification of vision testing equipment to ensure accurate assessments of individuals vision and optical health.
• Diagnostic Calibration on Audiometers: Performing diagnostic calibrations to maintain the integrity and performance of audiological equipment.

All calibrations are carried out in accordance with the South African national standards where applicable.

 

In addition to these services, we also service and conduct integrity checks on various medical devices, including:

• Electrocardiograms (ECG’s): Ensuring the accuracy of heart rhythm assessments.
• Scales: Weight checks and calibrations of scales for precise weight measurements.
• ENT Equipment: Conducting checks on ENT sets.
